This is for TC3 owners and possibly other owners with carburetor systems. My TC3 (1980 vintage) had problems with stalling whenever I had my foot off of the gas pedal. It turned out to be a dirty carburetor. The reason I am writing this is because the Holley carburetor on my TC3 has a back-blow port ( I am not sure of its actual name). All you have to do is to spray carburetor cleaner down this port, then blow air through the port. If the dirt problem is not bad, the dirt comes out of the top of the carburetor. It sure beats overhauling a carburetor (which would have been my next move). One last note: The manual calls for adjusting the idle mixture by using a propane tank with a special mixing valve. I have talked with some mechanics who say that the 1980 HORIZONs can be tuned the old way, i.e., Lean the idle mixture screw until the engine starts stalling, and then rich the screw until the engine sounds good.
