From: Paul Hager <hagerp@iuvax.cs.indiana.edu> It occurs to me that the low-flying cruise missiles being used in the Iraq War would be quit vulnerable to the old WW II barrage balloon. What sort of avoidance capability is built into the guidance system of a cruise missile? At what altitude does the cruise normally fly?
