France 	AMX-10P, Mechanized Infantry Combat Vehicle

Used by:
	France, Greece, Quatar, Suadi Arabia, United Arab Emirates

Description:
  Replacement for AMX-13, prototyped 1960, in production 1968,
in service 1973.
  Resembles the Russian ``BMP'': light armour, amphibious, tracked.

Stats:
	2 crew, 9 infantrymen
	2.5m high, 3m wide, 6m long, 13.8 K kg
	65kph,  600 km range, amphibious
	1 * 20mm cannon, 1 * 7.62mm mg
Variants:
	ATGW, mortar, arty fire control, ambulance, others.

Description:
  Lighter, wheeled vehicle to supplement the AMX-10P,
in service 1977.  Uses many commercial-vehicle components.

Stats:
        2 crew, 10 infantrymen, NBC protection
        2m high, 2.5m wide, 6m long, 13 K kg
        100kph,  1000 km range, 230hp, amphibious
        1 * 7.62mm/12.7mm mg or turreted 20mm cannon
Variants:
        Ambulance, ATGW with 4 * HOT launchers, mortar, AA, etc

Description:
   Tracked carrier, vaguely resembles U.S. M113. The name has been
dropped, due to confusion with a car (and condom). In service 1963.

	Light APC, formerly with gasoline engines, in service 1963 (diesel),
	being replaced by Bradley M-2 IFV.s

Description:  After some years of vassilation, a russian-style turreted IFV
	with the same mobility as the M1 Abrams tank. In service 1981.
