From: phil@zorch.SF-Bay.ORG (Phil Gustafson) >From the latest _Warship_International_, 90/3: IRAQ The four frigates and six corvettes built in Italy are still in Italian ports. Italy authorized delivery on 21 Apr 1990, but an export license was still awaited for certain radars and other electronics. Information about these vessels would be appreciated. Note that the 3/90 issue of this quarterly is the latest available. Like many non-profit journals, it's running late. Not so late as _acm_Transactions_on_Graphics_, but late. IMOH, it's better for all concerned that these vessels were not delivered: such conspicuous targets would be sunk by now, but might well have gotten in a few blows on the way down. -- | phil@zorch.SF-Bay.ORG | Phil Gustafson | {ames|pyramid|vsi1}!zorch!phil | UN*X/graphics consultant | sgi!gsi!phil | 1550 Martin Ave., San Jose CA 95126 | phil@gsi | 408/286-1749
