All of this discussion about the Honda CRX seems to me to miss the main points about the car. Quite simply there are 2 reasons for looking at the CRX: 1. You want a car that is "sporty", cheap, and you like its looks. Probably 98% of the people who buy the car will get it for this reason. The majority of them would be just as well off in a Corolla 2-door or an Isuzu Impulse, or some such. 2. For a skilled driver who is looking for a high performance car, the CRX has a superb price/performance ratio. (Note the word skilled.) On a twisty road, a skilled driver can walk away from most of the high performance cars that are priced up to 8 times the inflated price of the CRX. In these terms, the CRX may well be the bargain of the century, at any price up to $15,000. So, if you fall in the first catagory, you are probably wasting both time and money on a CRX. If, on the other hand, you are an impecunious DRIVER, the car is clearly worth a wait and cheap at twice the price. Chris Prael
