From: brndlfly@athena.mit.edu (Matthew T Velazquez) The A-10 kill mentioned earlier was an almost-accidental interception of a helicopter at low level. The pilot spotted something moving on or close to the ground, noticed that it wasn't leaving any dust, and decided it was a chopper. He went after it, firing two bursts from his GAU-8 20mm cannon.
