From: *Anthony Korsman <KORSMANA@QUCDN.QueensU.CA> A few questions came to mind last night after having just seen FRONTLINE last night on PBS. It discussed Dr. Gerald Bull's carrier with artillery up to his eventual murder by the Israeli government. Like most TV shows these days there was very little technical detail provided(though more than most) and I was hoping that some one out there could provide them. Dr. Bull made modifications to the 155mm and 210mm(??) guns to extend their range. These were made in South Africa and Belgium and then shipped to Iraq. 1/ What were these modifications(to the guns not the shell)? 2/ What are their ranges in comparison to Allied pieces?
