I hate to throw a wet blanket on the party, but according to US security regulations, disclosure of combat capability within a theatre of operations is classified information. Disclosure of the amounts of ammunition stockpiled certainly fits this criteria. [mod.note: This should go without saying, but I figured the reminder might not be a bad idea. I remind the readers that I am not qualified to judge what is and is not classified, so please be careful of what you say. - Bill ] Loyd M. What is current > production rate? Fire Support logistics planners talk in terms of Available Supply Rate (ASR) and Required Supply Rate (RSR). ASR is what's available in the Theater. RSR is what is required by the firing units for their planned missions. It's another 'system'. At every echelon - division and above - there is an logistics officer whose sole duty is planning for ammunition resupply - establishing ammunition points and the movement forward of ammo. (I think I talked about ammo logistics without answering your questions). :-) mike schmitt
