From: Will Martin <wmartin@STL-06SIMA.ARMY.MIL> Re the discussion on this: I looked at the "Flamethrowers" section in the 1987-88 issue of Jane's Infantry Weapons (latest edition I have). They list several US models beginning on page 567: Obsolete versions: ABC-M9-7 and M2A1-7 (both of these are backpack-tank, hose & nozzle types). M9E1-7: another backpack-tank, hose & nozzle type, listed as "Current". 15 litre capacity, range 40-50m w/thickened fuel, 20-25m w/unthickened fuel. They also list the previously-discussed M202A2 4-shot incendiary rocket launcher as "Current". Regards, Will wmartin@stl-06sima.army.mil
