An article was submitted sometime last year discussing motor oil. What I would like to know is which brands of oils contain wax additives (paraffins I believe) and which do not. Also, if there is another criterion which one should use for not mixing oils. I want this information so if I need oil and my present brand is not available, compatibility can be reasonably assured. More importantly, from time to time I switch brands, and because I can't get *all* of the oil out, I would like the new brand to work properly with some of the old brand present. Any other info on types to stay away from, or info sources would be appreciated. I read an article that most national brands were about equal in protection, but I'd appreciate any additional info. Thanks in advance, Pete Bauernfeind ihnp4!houxm!houxa!bauern
