After seeing $12,500 prices for those little CRX's, I wonder why anyone would pay that much for the little thing. For $12,000 I can get a fully blown '84 Mustang GT. Which do you think would be more fun (0-60 in 8 sec or so, compared to 0-60 in under 7 sec.)? Now the '84 GT won't win any beauty contests, but in my opinion the CRX ain't that great either. So why wait months for some random number generator to ship your CRX, when you could get a lot better for the price. (I'm not saying the GT is the only car, there are a lot of cars in the $12,000 price range that are better than the CRX, and more easily available, heck you could even get a '71-'72 used Pantara!). With a Honda its probably more like "Pay me now", whereas with a Ford its more like "Pay me later". Think about it, but don't ever forget """"Fix Or Repair Daily", "First On Repair Day", or finally "F*cking Old Rebuilt Dodge". -- D. R. Rueckheim ..!ihnp4!ihopa!drr AT&T Bell Labs, Naperville, Il.

For that matter, you could probably get a 1969 Boss 302 Mustang and still have a few thousand left to buy a real nice stereo for your bedroom. If you are interested in seeing nice Mustangs go to the Holiday Inn in Port Jervis, NY on May 26 or 27. There is a car show there. P Kelliher AT&T-ISL S. Plainfield, NJ

You must not forget the true meaning of FORD. 'First On Race Day' is what econoboxes. How about net.auto.dull. Lets here more about fast American Muscle Cars. P Kelliher AT&T-ISL S Plainfield, NJ

I'd be willing to say that the Honda will out-corner and out-brake your 302 any day (love them 4-wheel drums!) Brian Donnelly
