From: lafford@serum.Kodak.COM (Rick Lafford) I believe that I read somewhere that the A-10 nolonger uses the depleted uranium ammo due to the high toxcicity (lousy fingers). As it was explained to me, the gun is not the most effective tank killer anyway (Mavericks are) and the DU rounds created a definite hazard to clean-up. Does someone out there know more on this topic? I only posted this to inform people that still think that the DU round is being used by the A-10.
