I hope that no one inferred that I would advocate building or owning
such a device; I was just passing on information.  Besides, it wouldn't
be any fun breaking the ol' 55 if you didn't give the staties at least
a sporting chance.  Detectors are enough.

After driving in california for a few trips I can say that the ol staties
can do mighty well without radar at all.  They really keep ya on your toes
there.  How many of you people on the sunny west coast have tickets from
the California Highway Patrol?
