Hello again, time for another enthralling installment of quiz questions,
this month's topic is the same as last time, Naval Warfare, but the next one
I think I am going to cover some other topic (aircraft more than likely)
If you have any bits of trivia you think is fitting for posting
drop it to me at the address at the end of the post. I will post the
answers (with the questions) in a couple of weeks after you see this. If
this is easier than the last one, I'm sorry, its hard to dig up some of
this stuff in a short period. Enough babbling on the to questions!
1. Name the only Battleship ever to torpedo another battleship.
2. What was the propulsion system for the submarine CSS Hunley?
3. What happened to the German High fleet after the end of World War One?
(A majority, not the couple that survived until WW2)
4. Name the German ships involved in the Battle of Coronel.(in WW1)
5. Every knows about the four Iowas that are around today but what
where the names of the other two that did not get spared?
(Hint: the four still around are the Wisconsin, New Jersey, Missouri,
and Iowa)
6. Name any of the proposed Montana class battleship (besides the Montana!)

a arresting hook? (It took off with out using the catapult either!)
8. The General Belgrano was at Pearl Harbor on Dec 7, 1941,
what was its name then?
9. After its duel with the Bismarck, the crew onboard the King George V
found what unusual item on board?
10. What happened to the HMS Courageous class battleships?
11. Name another ship in the HMS Hood class.
12. What was the code name for the "channel dash" by the Scharnhorst,
Gneisenau, and Prinz Eugen?
13. What was the original name of the CV-16 USS Lexington?
14. What country did Argentina get her aircraft carriers from?
15. How many Yamato class battleships were either completed or under
construction at the beginning of WW2?
16. Name the Italian Aircraft carrier built from the passenger liner Roma
during WW2?
17. What was the name of BB-1?(American BB-1)
18. What was the hull designator of the USS Alaska?(ie USS Enterprise = CVN-65)
19. What was the fate of the USS Saratoga(CV-3)?
20. What ship did the guns from HMS Glorious and HMS Courageous finally end up
on?
