Hi,
I'm posting this for a long time friend and fellow worker. He does
not have access to the net so I'm helping him out.
I will accept E-Mail for him or you can contact him at the address
and/or phone numbers below. He's a very interesting guy to talk to-
he speaks airplanes (8-). With out further ado, heres his request.
Wanted for historical project: Photograph or slide of a North American
P-51H Mustang, used by the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics
[NACA] at the Lewis Research Center, located in Cleveland. Ohio. This
particular aircraft was Army Air Force serial No. 44-64702 and was in
use at Cleveland from March 1947 thru June 1953. The NACA also
assigned it a NACA number of 109, but it is uncertain if this number
was ever painted on this aircraft. Will pay any reasonable price for a
print or slide of this aircraft, or I can copy if you would be willing
to loan. Any loaned material would be handled with *TLC* and promptly
returned.
