One of the nasty facts about an f-15E is that it retains its AS sister's air-to-air capability. In red-flag excercises, when the F-15Es were equipped with AMRAAMS, the apposing force managed to draw off the assigned escorts only to be shot down by the Es. There were no cases of forced weapons salvo in the attack group, and the strike went as planned. See ya! Scott J.
