[net.auto] 16 Valve Scirocco

Does anyone have any information about when the new 16 Valve VW
Scirocco will be available for sale in the US?  Last I read (in
Auto Week a couple of months ago) the engine had been submitted
to EPA for certification.

I called VWOA Customer Relations in Detroit and talked to a woman
who said that it would NOT be available in the States AT ALL!  I
hope she was wrong.
