1) A naval architect and an athenian stateman. Commanding the fleet of
   Athens and its Allies, he won a decisive victory at Salamines over
   the Persian Fleet, thus putting an end at the Second Persian War,
   around 500 BC. However, he was accused of embezzlement and was
   banned to Persia.

2) A Roman general who destroyed the great confederation of pirats of
   eastern Mediterranea. His future partner and rival had been captured
   earlier by some of those pirats. His own some became a pirat
   admiral.

3) Battle between Octavius and Marcus-Antonius.

4) He put an end to the endemic piratery in Borneo in the 1840s.

5) An Admiral of France and the chief of the Huguenot Party in France.
   A fleet he sent founded Rio de Janeiro and Saint-Augustine under
   different names.

6) This russian cruiser fired his cannons on the Winter Palace in
   Petrograd at the beginning of the October Revolution.

7) The cadets of this russian naval academy were the nucleus of the
   Red Army.

8) Nicknamed the "corsair of the Emperor", he captured more than
   200 british merchant-ships between 1800 and 1814.

9) Like Salamines, Tsushima and Leyte, it was a "T-battle" that
   changed World's History in 1571. Amongst the participants were Don
   Juan of Austria, Cervantes and Dorgut.

10) He was Nelson's unfortunate rival at Trafalgar.

    fleet in 1827 and resulted in the independence of Greece.  Was it

    Admiral. Died in exile in Spain.
