From: gnb@bby.oz.au (Gregory N. Bond) Potential idiot question about terminology.... What is it that makes a grenade a grenade and not, say, a shell or a bullet or a bomb? I know of "hand grenades", you know, pull, count, throw. But attack helos have "grenade launchers" which are apparently not the same as cannons or guns. It the fact that grenades are time fuzed rather than impact fuzed?
