From: Amos Shapira <amoss@cs.huji.ac.il> Hello, In Bill Gunston's book on bombers he expresses amazement about the fact that Britain, which according to him was pioneering in flight-refuelling, didn't provide the Vickers-Armstrongs Valiants BK.1 (first flight 1951) with equipment for flight-refuelling. My question: When and how was the first flight-refuelling and what airplanes were involved in it (any other data will be appreciated too). Cheers, --Amos Shapira amoss@cs.huji.ac.il
