Does anyone have any positive/negative comments on the Peugot 505 GL wagon? Compared to the Volvo DL wagon which is comparable in price, the 505 has more interior space, a better looking interior, and a smoother ride, but also a poorer safety rating according to Consumer Reports and we haven't heard much on realiability. Our main goal is a wagon with a good safety record, plenty of passenger room (child car seat included), easy ingress/egress for all passengers, and long useful life (12+ years). Please direct mail any comments, and I will post a summary if there are sufficient responses. Pointers to wagons other than the Volvo or Peugot that have similar qualities would be appreciated.
