From: Bruce_Dunn@mindlink.bc.ca (Bruce Dunn) Organizers of the Abbotsford air show (August 9, 10, 11 at Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada) have announced that the Soviets have agreed to display the MiG-31 at the show. This is stated to be the first appearance of this aircraft in North America. The show will also feature the AN-225, which is the world's largest aircraft (built for carrying the Soviet shuttle and for booster parts). To top it off, the Stealth aircraft used with effect in the Gulf war will be displayed by the U.S. The air show is being held in conjunction with Airshow Canada, a trade show which takes place from August 7 to 11. Abbotsford is approximately a 1 hour drive east of Vancouver, British Columbia. It looks like a good show! -- Bruce Dunn Vancouver, Canada Bruce_Dunn@mindlink.bc.ca
