This is something different:
Would you believe me if I told you I saw Bach (yes, old J.S. Bach)
performing some new music this February, 1991 at Avery Fisher Hall.
Maybe you would call the ambulance to put me away.
Well, I made a minor mistake. That was just Bach's reincarnation !
Am I crazy ? No. That person has name and he is really nice and
modest, intelligent, perfect in expression and The Master of Game,
alias Magister Ludi.
Instrument: Piano. (only this time, plays also clavichord, recorders,
ethnic flutes, percussions, guitar, saxophones)
Place : Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center, NYC
Time : Sunday Evening, February 17th, 1991, at 7:30 p.m. EST
Program: Piano Improvisations
His name: Keith Jarrett
Almost two hours of unforgetable performance. The Music itself.
The Creation. The Power. The Entropy. The Secrets of Nature.
The Life. The Light and Darkness. The Infinity captured in Time,
Space and other Dimensions, and altogether projected and released
through The Music itself.
There is no WORDS capable of expressing The Event. I can only say:
I am happy and honored to live in the Epoch of Keith Jarrett,
unknown artist from unknown country on unknown planet in
very tiny galaxy, the spiritual reincarnation of J.S. Bach
who was unknown artist too, but from different country
and Epoch, same planet and same galaxy.
Are we going to wait again 100 years to discover the Genius ? Are the
young researchers on February, 2135, A.D, will discover the ancient
chest covered with dust and full of greasy CDs with strange name
sparkling under the light of a laser beam ?
