This only lasts for about three miles - provbbably until thre engine is warmed up. Then it runs fine. Does anyone have any isdeas what it could be? Larry Langerholc iwu1b!llserv (312) - 979-7604

[Dead End] You might check the heat riser valve for freeze. This "bug" turns up on a lot of otherwise sound cars. -- Col. G. L. Sicherman ...seismo!rochester!rocksvax!sunybcs!gloria!colonel

I still have the problem of my `76 Rabbit running badly when cold - although I've noticed that it runs ok when the humidity is low. I've cleanded the automiatic choke with cleaner - but I thoiink it may be an electrical problem((ignition wires or distributor cap). Any one else have this problem. I may just change everything(points, plugs, wires, etc), but I'm obsessed with the cause of this problem. Larry Langerholc (312)-979-7604 iwu1b!llserv P. S. Thanks to all who responded to my previous plea for help.
