I am posting the following for my fiancee, Kimberly Wells, who is a PhD student in neuroscience: ------------------------------------------------------------------- My research in Alzheimer's disease involves the use of tissue obtained either at autopsy or from a brain bank. Unfortunately, I am unable to obtain normal control age-matched tissue. Are any of the readers associated with a brain bank that has access to normal tissue? If so please let me know. Kimberly Wells 1645 Neil Ave Room 471 Ohio State University Columbus, OHIO 43210 Or respond by e-mail to Wayne Heym. ------------------------------------------------------------------- -- Wayne D. The address is: Cooperative Human Tissue Network Northwestern Division 410 West 10th Avenue N-535 Doan Hall Columbus, Ohio 43210 They match tissue samples available with researchers who need tissue. I have obtained some rare tissues from them for my research. There charges are minimal (like $15.00 plus shipping).
