[alt.fax] Unix compatible fax card?

I'm looking for a fax/modem card for a PC BUS (ISA) that is
compatible with unix.  As well, could somebody please tell me if
the advertised "9600 baud fax/modems" can actually be used as a
9600 baud modem?  If so, do I assume V.32?
