CALL FOR PAPERS
1989 Workshop on Applications of Signal Processing to
Audio and Acoustics
Mohonk Mountain House
New Paltz, New York
October 15-18, 1989
The workshop is sponsored by the IEEE
Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing
Society. Papers describing research and new
concepts are solicited for technical sessions
on, but not limited to, the following topics:
o Aids for the Handicapped
o Computer Music
o Active Noise Control
o Studio Applications
o Consumer and Professional Audio
o DSP Hardware and Software for Audio
o Audio Perception, Testing and Evaluation
o Room Acoustics and Echo Control
o Audio Processing for Telecommunications
o Sound Analysis and Synthesis
Authors are invited to send four copies of
two-page extended summaries to J. Schroeter
for review. The summaries should include
authors' names, addresses, affiliations and
telephone numbers. Summaries of accepted
papers will form the published workshop
proceedings. In addition to the regular
technical sessions, the workshop will include
invited plenary talks on topics of general
interest. The deadlines are:
o Submission of two-page summary....April 1, 1989
o Notification of acceptance.........June 1, 1989
