Gentleman, IEEE - USA (earlier called USAB) started Entreprenaurial Task Force to help IEEE members in starting and successfully operating companies. This task force headed by Joe Edminister gave few workshops. Last time I enquired about it in IEEE PACE conference in Pheonix, Joe told me that it is not doing well. The task force in the beginning limited itself to the workshops. Without host sections sponsoring, which inturn without its members asking for the workshop, the taskforce does not have activities.
