[comp.org.ieee] the Power Line Bus Standard Group

I remember reading some time ago, that the IEEE was looking to
organize a group for establishing a standard for using the power line
to transmit and hence form a data network.  Does any one have any idea
what happened??  Was the group formed?? If formed what is hapenning??


I don't poke around the BBS much so I would really appreciate an
