Could you post the procedures (or email me a copy)? To mail from Compmail to the Internet send (or forward) the mail to user "INTERMAIL". The first line of the message should be blank, the next line should be "Forward: ARPA", The next line "To: user@host.domain". Start your message with another blank line. That is: > mail intermail Subject: Test Forward: ARPA To: boykin@encore.com Test message. .send To send from the internet to Compmail is similar. % mail intermail@isi.edu Subject: Test Forward: COMPMAIL To: J.BOYKIN Message . Hope this helps. ---- Joe Boykin Manager, Mach OS Development Encore Computer Corp Treasurer, IEEE Computer Society Internet: boykin@encore.com UUCP: encore!boykin

Another method is: mailbox%COMPMAIL@intermail.isi.edu For example, my mailbox on COMPMAIL is IEE491, so: IEE491%COMPMAIL@intermail.isi.edu would get to me. Note: CAPS are not significant. I used them for emphasis. -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Burt Juda - IEEE = The Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers Internet: burt@ieeefs.ieee.org UUCP: ...!rutgers!njin!ieeefs!burt juda@pilot.njin.net BITNET: JUDA@NJIN COMPMAIL: 134:IEE491 merlin@mcastl.fidonet.org FidoNet: 1:107/310 Fax: 1-201-981-0027 Voice: 1-201-562-5510 (9-4,M-F) TELEX: 833233 Modem: 1-201-981-9190 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
