Is there something wrong with IEEE's FidoNet connection? I read what looks like personal mail in newsgroup comp.org.ieee at my site. Surely this can't be working correctly. --------------- My thoughts are my own, not the Navy's ------------------ Esther Lumsdon lumsdon@dtoa1.dt.navy.mil lumsdon%dtrc.arpa David Taylor Research Center, a Navy lab Annapolis Lab cm 301-267-3816 av 281-3816

There could be some misconnections. We have many different people using the net for many different purposes. What kind of personal mail? Do you mean person to person notes as opposed to news items? Or do you mean "PERSONAL" stuff that should be "PRIVATE"? ~pus 1:107/211)Z-- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Bill Wilkes - via UFGATE via 1:107/310 Internet: Bill.Wilkes@f211.n107.z1.ieee.org UUCP: ...!rutgers!njin!ieeefs!211!Bill.Wilkes =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

It seems to be some folks that are posting messages in the National conference/Newsgroup that should have been posted locally or in the FidoNet-only area. -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Burt Juda - IEEE - RAB - Field Services - E-mail Support Internet: burt@ieeefs.ieee.org UUCP: ...!rutgers!njin!ieeefs!burt juda@pilot.njin.net BITNET: JUDA@NJIN COMPMAIL: B.JUDA FidoNet: 1:107/310 FAX: 1-201-981-0027 TELEX: 833233 Voice: 1-201-562-5510 (9-4,M-F) Modem (BBS): 1-201-981-9190 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
