To ALL who have sent messages (or phone calls) this past week ...
I just want to apologize for not being able to follow up on everyone's
requests for information. We have been extremely hard at work getting
ready to put IEEE "live" on the Internet next week.
To those who have requested aliases on IEEE.ORG ...
1) they MUST be received via email. Those which come in via U.S.Mail
will not be acted upon. Also remember that your membership number
is a necessity. It will be used to key the aliases to the master
database in the future.
The BBS has been getting quite a bit of use also. I had to quickly install
different software last week because of a compatibility problem between the
TBBS driver and the drivers for PC-NFS. Things aren't as elegant as I'd
like them to be at the moment.
