< > I finally got my `76 Rabbit withthe "cold running/high humidity" problem solved. I bought a new distributor cap, rotor, and spark plug wires. When I got home, I intended to replace only the rotor and distributor cap to see if that solved the problem. I took of the cap, removed the old rotor, and placed the new ones on. Then I unplugged the old wires from the old cap and YUK! - a beautiful turquoise coating was on the connector. I replaced the wires too, and the Rabbit's been running fine - and the humidity has been well over 80% for several days after making these changes. Thanks to all who gave advice - it appears that this problem can be caused by several different malfunctions. Larry Langerholc iwu1b!llserv
