I went to the local Sears to obtain a pair and the saleman told me no dice. It seems that Sears has removed ALL the rear shocks from their inventory that fit GM X-body vehicles, my 1980 Phoenix to be specific. He told me that they have no idea when they will have any more, or even if they will ever carry rear shocks for the X-body. Does anyone know what is going on? Is there a safety problem? Or does Sears just want to avoid any flack about the X-body rear wheel lockup? mikey at trsvax
