I am looking for an explanation of the syntax and semantics of multidot procedure and function calls. (1) The brief explanation in the book (_Object-oriented_Software_Construction_) is insufficient. (2) Older references to the language do not even mention them. (3) I don't have access to an Eiffel environment. Thanks very much. It may be useful for replies to go to the net for others who are curious about Eiffel.
