1. I don't have Eiffel, and have little chance of getting it right now. 2. Yes, I have read (carefully) Meyer's book. Enjoyed it, too. 3. I teach Systems Analysis and Design in a School of Business. I'd like to use Eiffel as an example of a modern Problem Specification Language. The idea is to show students a language where the logical behavior of a computer system can be separated from the actual implementation yet still b contained in a compilable language. My problm is that I don't think that these undergraduate MIS majors will be all that convinced by the fundamental structures like lists, trees, and so on. The example in Meyer's book about screen data entry is more like what I have in mind, and is what I'll use if I have to. What I'd like to here about here is examples of OOP used to describe applications like database, accounting, statistics, finance, or office automation type applications. Anyone? lee
