interfacing of Eiffel and C++. Anybody still got copies which they could

I personally know of four different companies who have interfaced Eiffel with one or more of the major relational database systems. I am sure there are more around. Most or all of the developers of the four quoted above have no net access. At least two of these interfaces seem to be of industrial quality (which does not necessarily mean ready for release as products). We are endeavoring to make at least one part of the Eiffel Shelf (i.e. available through us), or publicly available through some other channels. These things always take more time than expected. Given the frequency with which this question is asked, we will post precise references to sources if and when we get the authors' permission to do so. -- -- Bertrand Meyer bertrand@eiffel.com
