Maybe someone at ISE could answer this one (or anyone else that knows).
In Dr. Meyer's book he states that
"At the time of writing, Eiffel itself does not include direct support for parallel
or real-time features, ... Work on extension of Eiffel for concurrency and real-time
is in progress"
What is the status of this work w.r.t. concurrency? I am aware of the JOOP paper
Nov '89 [Caromel] detailing extensions to Eiffel in the area of concurrency.
Is this going to be productized or is there other work going on?
What about the real-time work?
