We are running Eiffel V2.2 on a HP9000 840 , our directory structure
mirrors that of option 3 as described in "Eiffel the Environment."
We are having a problem with users actually owning files in the
library subdirectory after they have done a compilation. An example
is the following in the library/kernel/std_files.E diretory.
Eiffel is a YP login.

Sometimes depending on their umask the files are unaccesible to others.
Has anyone experienced similar problems and could point us in the
right direction ? Is their any known way to avoid this other than by
playing with ACL's or something similar? Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
Thanx in advance,
