Is "Eiffel, the Language" still scheduled for publication in January? I know it is available from ISE in whitepaper form. I am talking about the hardcover First Edition. If so, where can I get it? Are they taking orders? etc... etc... Merry Christmas Ho Ho Ho

I have to admit that January is not very likely. This is the holiday
season, so please be charitable and don't dig up old postings promising
something like July 1st, 1922. My goal is to have the book published
for the TOOLS conference in Paris (March 4-8).

I am not able to promise anything for the near future. The plan is to publish ``Eiffel: The Language'', ``Eiffel: The Libraries'', ``Eiffel: The Environment'' and the second edition of OOSC, in this order. The present edition is certainly not perfect but at least it is there, and appears to be still up to its role. I have had to give priority to the other books. -- Bertrand Meyer bertrand@eiffel.com
