I've been told by some that the cross-post to comp.lang.eiffel didn't
happen. I apologize if you've seen this already. To those who already
replied - your information is on its way via snail mail. I also dressed

Eiffel Outlook, a new newsletter
Rock Solid Software has launched a newsletter devoted to Eiffel,
the highly regarded object-oriented language. Called "Eiffel Outlook",
the newsletter is the independent source for the international Eiffel
community, with news, features and discussions of the practical issues
involved in the successful use of Eiffel and closely related languages
such as Sather.
"Eiffel Outlook" will be published six times a year, beginning with
the April/May 1991 issue. Each issue will be 16 to 20 pages long. We are
attempting to keep the cost of the newsletter reasonable, and will have
special rates for students and schools.
The emphasis will be on the practical use of the language as
opposed to open research questions, although proposed language
modifications will be tracked closely. A typical issue may include user
profiles and experiences, current news, new product announcements, book
and product reviews, code examples, and articles on analysis and design
practice. Of particular interest will be reviews of available unsupported
and supported source libraries.
Serving on the Board of Editors are: Bertrand Meyer, creator of
Eiffel; Stephen Omohundro, creator of Sather; Dr. Brian Henderson-Sellers,
OO expert from Australia; Rick Jones, frequent comp.lang.eiffel contributor
from England; and Richie Bielak, an influential Eiffel user who works
at The Bank of New York.

and subscription offer. Please include a mailing address. Media kits are
available for advertisers who want to reach the Eiffel market. An Author's
Guidelines is available for those who may want to contribute articles,
code, or news to "Eiffel Outlook".
