There is a problem on page 216 of this document, which may cause you a small amount of frustration. There is a conflict between the syntax and illuminating example of the use of the name clause in `external' declarations. The conflict should be resolved in favor of the syntax description, not the example. In other words, the name clause should preceed the language clause, not succeed it.
