[comp.lang.sigplan] Formatted Table of Contents

dswise@iuvax.cs.indiana.edu (David S. Wise) (03/18/89)

[Moderator's note: The response to on-line Tables of Contents for
_SIGPLAN_Notices_ was warm, but some suggested that they should be formatted
as something more than ASCII/ISO text. Juergen Christoffel (mcvax!gmdzi!jc)
was one of those, and I asked if he would volunteer for the task.....]

Hmm, I've thought about that (and altough my conscience warns me and
says "no time!" -- I'm sure you know about this) I think we might try
it. I've always been an eager reader of SIGPLAN Notices and I really
like the idea of having these article references online. SIGPLAN is a
good first step. Hopefully other SIG's might follow then.

OK, let's see. I'm a beta tester of a cute bibliographic database tool
(called P.A.R.I.S.) on my Mac which is capable of importing and
exporting (among others) in bibtex or refer format and I've put the
March '89 stuff into it. You'll find both versions attached.

Regards, JC
