SYMPOSIUM ON OBJECT ORIENTED PROGRAMMING EMPHASIZING PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS SEPTEMBER 14-15, 1990 MARIST COLLEGE, POUGHKEEPSIE, NY Sponsored by the Division of Computer Science & Mathematics, Marist College in cooperation with ACM special interest group on programming languages (SIGPLAN). The Symposium will include a tutorial on Object Oriented Programming that will be presented by Richard Wiener, a keynote address by Bertrand Meyer, and paper presentations and panel discussions that will explore the advantages and difficulties of adopting the object oriented paradigm. Exhibits of appropriate hardware, software products, and textbooks are being solicited.
