As a result of an error in co-ordinating the BIO-CONVERSION mail distribution between distribution points in Ireland and in Finland, a number of messages have been copied several times to subscribers. Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience which this has caused you. Although investigation of the precise nature of the error is not yet complete, I have taken steps yesterday to disable the mechanism which I believe is causing the problem. No further duplicates have appeared here at IRLEARN since 02:23 GMT this morning. I should like to thank in particular Douglas Kell and Richard Bingham, who took the trouble to complain.
