Hi Juhani,
I am back now after a 3 months absence and keen to know about
this bboard in BIOSCI.

Could you give me an update ?
The last I heard from you was the announcement write-up, has
this been sent for distribution ?
What are the current plan of action ?

You'll get the messages sent to the system via the PortaCOM conference
Bioconversion KPO as letters. You could consult Gillis Een to get on
a permanent contact between these conferences (he has made the
COM<-->PortaCOM connection on BIXNET Technical). The other - and best -
way to get international contact could be to make Bioconversion STOCKHOLM
a daughter conference of the mailing list BIO-CONV (subscribe BIO$CONV)
at IRLEARN.UCD.IE (or IRLEARN.BITNET). You can decide which would be the
best solution.

The announcement has been written up and sent for distribution straight
after your depart for Malaysia. I can send you a copy.

The current plan of action could be:

1) To inform scientific circles on the Bioconversion Network as a part of
   the international BIOSCI newsgroup/bboard/teleconference network

2) To retrieve valuable information on bioconversion issues by the same
way you've made with Anaerobic Digestion MIRCEN system

3) To start the publishing of a "BIOSCI Bioconversion Journal" with the
edited messages for paper print/file distribution (if possible). I'm
   ready for making this.

4) To make the participation on the discussions better than in the
beginnings: now there's a danger that our bboard/newsgroup will drop out
from the international system if the activity doesn't be raised.

Yours sincerely, E. Juhani Tenhunen (TENHUNEN at FINUJO.BITNET)
