I am currently working on porting X11R3 to a graphics board running under VMS. We have the board up under X11R3 under Ultrix, and I have some questions about doing the client/server interface for VMS (I am not a VMS guru, but do have some understanding of how it works, and I do have a background in OS theory [former UNIX hack, guru]). I heard from someone recently that someone posted something to the net saying that they had done this several months ago. If you are either that person, or had done similar work and are available to give me a hand (consulting, code, the OS layer of the client and server, etc), please contact me. This is for a product we will be marketing, in case that makes a difference. Also of interest is what we would need to do to make our product "DECWINDOWS" compatable, ie. we would like to use the DECWINDOWS libraries, so the client/server interface that they use would be preferable (but not required).
