As a child, Jesus asked his mother, "Who am I?" "The angel of the Lord came down and laid his hand upon me. You're the Son of God," was Mary's reply. Overhearing this, Joseph intoned, "He damn well better be." -- Edited by Brad Templeton. MAIL, yes MAIL your jokes to funny@looking.UUCP Attribute the joke's source if at all possible. Administrative note: The list of cooking terms posted recently was NOT from the poster's brother-in-law as advertised. Here's a note I got. It might interest you to know that every one of these definitions was lifted verbatim from a book called "Cooking: A Cook's Dictionary" (and subtitled "The art of using appliances and utensils to convert ingredients and seasonings into excuses and apologies"). The book is by Henry Beard and Roy McKie, published by Workman Publishing, ISBN number 0-89480-843-5. It's a wonderful book, and I think the authors deserve to get the credit for their work. -- Matt Landau PEOPLE, PLEASE don't submit copyrighted material as your own.
