<RIIIIIIPPPPP!!!!> HELP!!! While working on my ol' 57 Rolls-Royce Bentley, I happened to lay across the leather seat and 'poked' my elbow into the seat, leaving a tear approx. 3 or 4 inches long. After the tears dried, I took the car over to the local seat guru who said he couldn't help me (unless he replaced the 'panel' which would no longer match the rest of the car). The rip is in a 'flat' part of the seat (no seams). Has anyone out there patched a leather seat before? Is there a repair kit available?? Could I cut a piece of leather and slip it under the tear and apply some kind of glue to it?? H E L P ! ! ! Phil Gunsul
