Many people on the net (and elsewhere!) do seem to have Honda's.
My 1982 Civic 4-door sedan (is this what you have?) has never had squeaky
brakes. It's a California model, if that makes any difference.

I have a 1981 Honda Civic 1500 GL Hatchback. Over the past several months,
I have had a problem with the brakes "shaking" or pulsating when I applied
them, even lightly. I recently (about 1 month ago) replaced the rotors on
the front two wheels, and this cured the problem. Now, however, the problem
seems to be developing all over again. The rotors I installed came directly
from a Honda dealer, and they were brand new. I don't know why they should
be warping so soon... I don't want to have them ground, because it is my
understanding that once they are ground, they will warp even sooner. Also,
this will shorten their life, as I can't have them machined more than once.

Has anyone else had this problem with Civic brakes? Or, does anyone
have any suggestions on what may be causing the problem? Any ideas on how
to prevent this from getting any worse or from developing again?

I would appreciate any and all comments and/or suggestions.

    Thank you!
